Where to stay in Gorges du Verdon, France?
The Verdon takes its source near the Allos pass (2819 m) and flows into the Durance, near Vinon-sur-Verdon after covering nearly 175 km.
The Gorges du Verdon are narrow and deep: 250 to 700 meters deep, 6 to 100 meters wide at the level of the Verdon river, and 200 to 1,500 meters from side to side at the top of the gorges.
